The Galaxy Watch application allows you to connect and manage your Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2, and Galaxy Watch3 devices with your mobile device. Through the application, you can control various features and applications installed on your Gear devices from the Galaxy App Store. The following features can be set up and managed using the Galaxy Watch application:

• Connect to and disconnect from a mobile device
• Application download and settings
• Find my Watch

To enjoy all the features of your Gear device, simply install the Galaxy Watch application on your mobile device, then pair it with your Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2, or Galaxy Watch3 using Bluetooth.

Please note that the Galaxy Watch is not compatible with iPad and iPod touch.

It's important to mention that the settings and features provided by the Galaxy Watch application are only available when your Gear device is connected to your mobile device. Without a proper connection between your Gear device and mobile device, some features may not work as intended.

Before using the app service, please review and agree to the following User Agreements. Keep in mind that if you choose not to agree with certain agreements, some services may not be available to you.

Required User Agreements:

• Bluetooth: Required for communication with the watch
• Background Refresh/fetch: Required for communication with the watch while in the background

Optional User Agreements:

• Photos: Access permission required to send images
• Camera:
  • Required for QR Code scan to activate the gear side eSIM
  • During the eSIM activation in Galaxy Watch Setup
  • During the update of the profile picture for Samsung Health
• Contacts: Required to access your phone contacts and sync with gear contacts
• Location: Required to determine your location for weather information
• Calendar: Permission required to sync the watch calendar
• Notification: Required for accessing the Notification Center with useful information
• Cellular Data: Required to access services when you don't have access to a Wi-Fi network
